Dominic comes to town!
 OK, better late than never, I finally have had time to update the site.
Back in October, my good friend Dominic Gerardi came to town to take a break from the Bay Area. He got to see Cassandra and Astrid having only briefly met them once before. Gloria comes to town to help get ready for Jolie
 Sometime in early May, Cassandra was briefly put on bed rest in advance of Jolie's birth. Gloria, Cass's Mom, who had already planned to come out and help came out early so Cassandra could rest up a bit.

Costa Rica, baby!
 Well here I sit, less than 24 hours into our week in Costa Rica. Not that I'm going to spend all week on the internet, but I figured I'd give people a taste of life here.
To be specific, we are in Ocotal, on the Pacific coast, about 20 minutes from the Liberia airport.

Mandee and Dominic come to town!
 OK so one of Jeff's best friends, Dominic, made his 2nd journey to Texas in May, and had it correspond with a visit from Cass's cousin Mandee, who have been friends on Myspace.
While they had never met in person given Dom lives in the Bay Area and Mandee is in Kentucky, they hit it off famously during their brief stay.

Backyard Hot Tub action
 OK, so after we finished the work on our bathroom, we decided to make the backyard a bit more lounge-friendly. We longed a bit for the parties we used to have in the backyard in Austin, although now with Astrid in the picture, and most of our friends elsewhere, we knew it would never be quite the same.
